HousingThe Housing Department provides services to all tenants and residents. Our aim is to create successful tenancies and sustainable communities.

The Housing Services team is responsible for allocations, lettings, rent and service charge settings.

The Neighbourhoods Manager leads a team of housing officers who are each responsible for a patch of properties; they are the key contact for residents of those properties. Their primary responsibilities are to prevent and recover rent arrears, seek to resolve neighbour disputes and to provide general support and advice to residents assisting them in establishing and maintaining their tenancy. They also work with residents in their community to make them desirable places to live.

The Tenancy Support Officer supplements the work of the team by being able to give specialist support to individual tenants in general needs accommodation who require more assistance in accessing services to enable them to maintain their tenancy.
