PACE - Practical Awards in Community Excellence 
The PACE Quality Standards project is designed to help small voluntary and community organisations to identify and develop the skills, knowledge and systems needed to manage themselves more effectively, whilst retaining the need to meet the requirements of both users and funders.
PACE works within a number of quality standards- PQASSO, Quality First, Social Audit, The Quality Mark, Investors In People etc as well as having developed its own relevant quality standard- PACE.
The PACE model provides: ongoing support; the use of an Open College Network programme trained peer assessment panel (when external evaluation is required); and the provision of an award in recognition of achievement.
The PACE team will support each individual group as they gather their evidence and will assist in identifying their training needs.
