Regeneration Services
Black Country Housing > Regeneration > Regeneration Services

Black Country Housing Group’s involvement in community development began more than eight years ago through its Tenant and Community Initiatives Department. Partnership is an integral part of the department’s work and over the years a number of joint projects have been delivered in partnership with the community. In October 2003, the department was re-named Community Regeneration to more accurately reflect the nature of its work.

The Department is headed by Elemay Parkes, Director of Community Regeneration, and has a staff team from diverse backgrounds, providing the department with a wide range of skills gained through their experience of working with the community.

The Community Regeneration Department is currently supporting the sustainability and quality of voluntary and community organisations in the Black Country, also supporting local groups and individuals on health, community development, tenant and community empowerment and Neighbourhood Management.
