All of our sheltered housing schemes have a Scheme Manager on duty Monday to Friday. They are available to help in an emergency, to ensure the building is well managed, and to encourage/promote independence. Flats are available for single people and couples with some specially designed for disabled people. All flats are unfurnished with their own front door. Resident’s guests can be entertained in their own flat at any time. Visitors may stay overnight in a guest room which is available for a nominal charge.
Care can be provided if required. Black Country Housing Group aim to enable their residents to live a full life in a setting where they feel happy and secure.

Who Can Apply?
Anyone who is over 55 years old and retired, about to retire or who is in need of sheltered housing.
You can apply for Doveton House or Elizabeth House by contacting Dudley Borough Council and Apsley House or Braeburn House by contacting Sandwell Borough Council.

If you are interested in Vantage Point you will need to contact Sandwell MBC as we do not currently hold a waiting list. Any available properties are let using nominations from Sandwell MBC.
What does the accommodation offer?
All flats contain:
- fitted carpets throughout lounge, bedroom and hallway
- non-slip vinyl floor covering to bathroom and kitchen
- full central heating
- an emergency alarm call system
- a door entry system to enable occupants to identify who is calling at the main door
- fully fitted kitchen with a cooker and fridge
Communal Facilities:
- Laundry with washing machines and tumble dryers
- Guestroom for short stay visitors
- Private well maintained gardens
- Communal Lounge
